The office of the National Council provides leadership, technical assistance, management training, and resource development to local chapters. To secure assistance, contact the nearest Catholic Church in your community and ask if they have a Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conference in their parish or know of one in the vicinity.

In 2013, all over the world, Vincentians are celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the birth of Frederic Ozanam. Celebrate this time of special grace and blessing for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul with reflective resources.
Voice of the Poor (VOP) is the advocacy arm of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. We identify those issues that are critical to those living in poverty and need in order to help develop strategies and tactics that will provide the most effective and efficient means to reduce or eliminate poverty.

Following the President General’s direction two new USA Representatives to the Americas positions have been created. One position is responsible for the Central American countries, and the second position takes care of the South American countries. Our Representatives have traveled and will travel to Latin America, to visit and see, first hand, their works, their conferences, their needs and determine the best way to help our Latin American brothers, sisters and friends. They will report the results and recommendations in this website (to find the reports click on the flag of a country) to help you decide what conference or special works you would like to help. We are hoping that in this manner, you will know specifically the help you are providing, that it is indeed needed help, and that as usual, will go directly to our National office that will forward it the to selected country.
