For 177 years, the St. Vincent de Paul Society has been working 1:1 with the poor in almost every community in the United States. Through its 120,000 lay members it has gained a reputation as one of the most efficient and effective charitable organizations in the World.
The National office administers programs and services that are focused on providing a wide range of services to the poor, including: home visits, housing assistance, disaster relief, job training and work placement assistance, assistance with obtaining food, clothing, rent, transportation, utility costs, free or low cost medical services and assisting local Councils to achieve their fundraising goals.
Sponsorship levels have been expanded to include additional visibility through a highly successful national special event. The Friends of the Poor® Walk is coordinated nationally to raise awareness of the challenges faced by the nation’s poor and to raise funds for local programs. Last year over $1.4 million was raised and almost 17,000 walkers participated in walks hosted at 205 sites.
In addition to the sponsorship levels and benefits listed on the corporate sponsorship document, we can customize a corporate participation plan that meets your specific business goals and charitable interests.
